Dental implants are today’s best replacement alternative to missing teeth as they are safe and long lasting. Implants are now used as routine treatment for an entire range of problems from replacing a single tooth to full oral rehabilitation and even for reliable denture retention.
An implant is a sophisticated titanium screw which is placed into the jaw bone to replace the root of a missing natural tooth. It fuses with the jaw bone to form a secure foundation for tooth replacement. The end result…replacement teeth that look, feel and function just like natural ones.

General Dentistry and Restorative Dentistry
Restorative dentistry:
Tooth coloured cavity fillings: Tooth coloured filling is the process by which enamel-like composite resin is bonded to the tooth’s surface, sculpted to an ideal shape, hardened and polished. This technique can be used for both front and back cavities.
Crowns or caps: A crown-sometimes called a cap-is a tooth like covering placed over a carefully prepared existing tooth. Most crowns are made of porcelain, a stain resistant material that closely replicates the appearance and function of your natural teeth. Used to strengthen, restore or improve the appearance of your natural tooth a crown is placed on an individual tooth. Crowns are also used to support teeth when there is no longer sufficient tooth structure left to place a filling.
Bridges: A bridge is a custom device anchored to neighbouring teeth that replaces one or more missing teeth. When a lost tooth is replaced with bridgework, the teeth on either side of the missing one must be prepared as crowns which will serve as abutments to hold the replacement teeth in place
Root canal treatment (Endodontics): Inside your tooth, running like a thread through the root, is the pulp. When the pulp is diseased or injured, the pulp tissue dies. If you do not remove it, your tooth gets infected and this causes intense pain and can lead to a dental abscess. After the dentist removes the pulp, the root canal is cleaned and sealed off to protect it. Then a crown is placed over your tooth to help make it stronger
Extractions / Wisdom teeth removal: Wisdom teeth also called as third molars are most commonly impacted (partially or fully in bone). If these teeth are in an abnormal position(can be seen on x ray), their potential for harm should be assessed. Impacted wisdom teeth are almost certain to cause problems if left in place.
Periodontal(gum) treatment: Red or bleeding gums, tooth sensitivity and bad breath can be warning signs of gum disease- a serious infection that, if left untreated, can lead to tooth loss. Periodontal treatment basically involves removing all infection in the gums.
Complete/Partial Dentures: Dentures are basically removable appliances that replace any or all natural teeth. With careful planning and design of the prosthesis a successful aesthetic result can be achieved and function improved. Where some teeth are still present the design often incorporates some crowns and precision attachments to provide invisible clasp retention. Where all teeth are missing, treatment may require added retention and stability with dental implants.
Orthodontic (braces) treatment: Addressing a variety of cosmetic and functional problems, ortho treatment deals with straightening teeth. Through the use of specially designed and fitted appliances constant and gentle pressure is put on the teeth causing them to move into the desired position. TMJ/TMD treatment: If a patient's teeth don't fit and slide together in harmony, one or more of the head and neck muscle groups may begin to suffer from fatigue. This may be felt as headaches, eye pain, shoulder pain. Stress levels are known to make matters worse.
NTI-tss (tension suppression system) - A device that prevents medically diagnosed migraine pain, tension-type headache, and jaw disorders ("TMJ"), without drugs or surgery, through the reduction of trigeminally innervated muscular activity.
Preventive treatment:
Cleaning & Polishing: Oral prophylaxis/professional clean up/scaling & polishing involves cleaning of all teeth to get rid of plaque, tartar and stains that accumalate over a period of time. Ideally it is to be performed every six months to maintain good oral health.
Flouride treatment: Flouride treatment help to strengthen the teeth externally. Especially recommended in children.
Fissure sealing: A thin plastic protective film painted on the chewing surfaces of back teeth. Children receive the greatest benefit from sealants as the chewing surfaces of a child's teeth are most susceptible to cavities
